This is a tab for updating the version of the Client (Agent) PCs connected to the Master (Main Control) PC. It is necessary to accurately grasp each content of the UI and install the appropriate versions on each system according to the nature of the update.

SIGN IN to Server

Attempt to log in to the server where the update information is uploaded. However, it must be communicated through an external network to be able to SIGN IN. (If communication cannot be made through the external network, proceed with the Local Update method.)

  • Server URL

    • Enter the update server address

    • IP:Port (external: 175.116.17.219:20068)

 

  • ID / Password

    • Enter the update account ID

    • Enter your update account password

Request the account creation to the administrator

 

  •  Remember

    • Storing Server URL, ID, and Password Information

    • When Agent Control is restarted, the previous information is retained.

Update Type & List

The update list and update versions of all systems connected to 4DDM are listed.

  • Refresh All

    • Refresh the version list

    • Loads version information from the update server and displays it in the list

 

  • Update All

    • Start all system updates (packages) with the version selected in the Update Versions list

 

 

 

  • Date / Update Type / Version Search

[Search by Date]

  1. Date: Select year/month, then select the release date to select the version on that date.

  2. Daemon List: Displays DMPD and Daemon versions corresponding to the selected deployment date, and also displays whether Package is required

  3. Release Notes : Posey

 

 

 

 

[Search by Update Type]

 

  1. Select Type : Display Deamon version by Type

    1. Release : Full release version

    2. Dev: Development version

    3. Test : QA test version

  2. Sort each type by the most recently released version in descending order

  3. Package List : Display DMPD and Daemon versions Package by date

  4. Release Notes : Display release notes for the version

 

 

[Search based on Version Search]

  1. Search Field : Directly search for the desired DMPD or Daemon version name

  2. Appears in the list of versions that match the versions found during the deployment history

  3. Daemon List: Displays deployment history that matches search results

  4. Release Notes : Displays the release notes for the corresponding version

 

 

 

 

 

Local Storage Management & Util Process

Describes the parts that include additional functions in the Update View of the AC program..

  • Download Storage Management

    • Empty Download Storage

      • Pressing the Empty button deletes the downloaded DMPD and daemon files for the update

      • Delete the downloaded temporary files to install rather than delete the existing installed files

 

  •   Util Process

    • 4D Agent Control Download

      • Download the latest version of 4D Agent Control, only download is carried out, and manual installation is required using the installer that appears in a pop-up window after downloading.

    • 4D Agent Update

      • Automatically update the 4D Agent installed on all PCs that appear in the Control View list

 

Step of Update View

Step 1. Executing Agent Control

Step 2. Perform Start View Steps

Step 3. Update View > Date, Update Type(Release/Dev/Test), Version Search 클릭

Step 4. Select the desired Update version and click Update All

 

[Automatic Update Steps]

 

  1. Version Check: Compare the installed version with the version to be updated, and skip the update operation if the version is the same

  2. Download : Download the update file if the version is different

  3. Daemon Update: Automatically updates downloaded files

  4. Confirm : Automatically run the updated daemon

※ Default download path: C:\4DReplay\4D AgentControl\Download

 

[Manual Update Steps]

 

  1. Perform the installer from the path that pops up in the pop-up window

  2. [Next] > [Install] > [Finish]

  3. Check the version after performing the DM/PD program
