(ENG) [4DDM ] Eedit (Mapping)

Edit(Mapping) 

Edit (Mapping) is a work step to map out which systems 4DDM Software will connect to and how before using 4DDM. This process starts automatically after the 4DDM Start View if there is no data in the new EMd DB, or if there is existing mapping data in the EMd DB, you can modify the mapping status by clicking the Edit icon.

Step of Edit (Mapping)

Step1. [Steps to register PoE]

  1. Enter the PoE Switch IP address in the blank space on the left (if registering one by one)

  2. Click the [+] icon to fill in the blanks and automatically register the next IP address.

  3. Enter the first and last IP address of the PoE Switch in the right blank (if registering more than one at a time) (ex.10.82.17.234~10.82.17.239)

Step2. [Steps to register a camera]

  1. Enter the CAM IP address in the blank on the left (if registering one by one) and set the CAM type using the drop-down function on the right.

  2. If necessary, enable Gimbal and enter the Gimbal IP address.

  3. To fill in the blank and register additional IP addresses, click the [+] icon to manually enter the next IP address.

  4. (If registering more than one CAM at a time), enter the first and last IP address of the CAM in the right blank (ex. 10.82.11.11~10.82.11.30).

Step3. [Steps to PreSd, PostSd, VPd]

  1. Enter the PreSd PC IP address in the Pre-Storage blank and click the [+] icon to add the PreSd PC IP address

  2. (When using Live) Post-Storage Enter the PostSd PC IP address in the blank and click the [+] icon to add the PostSd PC IP address

  3. (When using Live) Enter the VPd PC IP address in the center blank and click the [+] icon to add the VPd PC IP address.

  4. Enter the first and last IP address of the VPd PC in the right blank (if registering more than one) (ex. 10.82.12.11~10.82.12.30).

Step4. [Steps to Camera - PoE Mapping]

  • Camera - PoE Mapping steps

  1. Click Camera map and left-click on 'Select' to highlight the cameras to connect to a specific PoE field

  2. Select the PoE device to connect to the camera in the first right column and click [◁].

※ (Common) To select multiple items one by one, hold down Ctrl and click the desired number.

※ (Common) To select multiple items in a row, hold down Shift and click the desired number.

※ (Common) When selecting a selected camera or camera range, hold down Ctrl + Shift and click.

  • Camera - PreSd Mapping steps

  1. Left-click on 'Select' to highlight the cameras to connect to a specific PreSd box

  2. Select [D_Movie] or [E_Movie] on the PreSd PC in the second row on the right and click [◁].

※ Proper distribution and mapping is required to avoid crowding many cameras on one PreSd PC.

※ Be careful not to exceed a maximum of 17 CAMs per drive at 75Mbps.

 

  • Camera – PostSd Mapping steps

  1. Left-click on 'Select' to highlight the cameras to connect to a specific PostSd box

  2. Select [D_Movie] on the PostSd PC in the third column on the right and click [◁].

※ Properly distribute and map cameras so that many cameras are not crowded on one PostSd PC.

※ Depending on the H/W case, the [E_Movie] folder on the PostSd PC may not exist.

Step5. [Pre Storage Mapping steps]

  • [PreSd – VPd Mapping steps]

  1. Check the VPds that you want to associate with a specific Pre Storage from the right side selection.

  2. Select the PreSd PC on the left and click the [o] on the left side of the right column

※ (Common) To select multiple items individually, hold down Ctrl and click the desired number.

※ (Common) To select multiple items in a row, hold down Shift and click the desired number.

※ (Common) When selecting a selected camera or camera range, hold down Ctrl + Shift and click.

Step6. [Special Camera Mapping steps]] (Optional)

  • [Special Camera – VPd Mapping steps]

  1. In the Camera map from Step 1, check the [★] mark in the first column on the left, Special.

  2. Select the VPd that you want to associate with a specific Special Camera from the right selection.

  3. Select the Special Cameras on the left and click the [◁] in the right column.

※ When using PD View, Bird View, etc., set up as needed
