IMS Channel Setting

After setting the camera IP and System ID in IMS, you need to register it in 4DDM Refer and check if the IMS settings are correct. 

Step of Making Excel

Create an Excel file by writing camera information such as Live camera IP, Gimbal IP, preset status, and other group information into IMS Excel.

  • [Check PoC planning documents, network diagrams, and floor plans]

  • [Enter camera and server information such as Live Camera, Gimbal, Presets, etc.]

Channel Info

  • Channel index: Sequence number recognized by CMS

  • camera ip : Camera IP registered in DM

  • name: Camera name

  • status: Active – Live camera used / Inactive – Unused live camera

  • media type : Video – Video is input / Audio – Audio is input / All – Video/audio is all input

  • gimbal ip: Gimbal IP registered in DM (exists with or without Gimbal)

  • gimbal preset: Y/N – Set whether to use gimbal preset (exists with or without gimbal)

  • server ip : (AWS or local) Outgoing server IP

  • server port : 8554​

  • pdview master index : Enter PD view live index information

 

[Enter group information such as View Type, Bitrate, GOP, FPS, etc.]

Group Info

  • Group ID : Group ID 입력​

  • Name​ : MAINVIEW – Group name 설정​

  • View Type : MAINVIEWA ~ MAINVIEWJ / MULTIVIEWA ~ MULTIVIEWF / BIRDVIEWA ~ BIRDVIEWC /PDVIEWA ~ PDVIEWC / EXTERNALA ~ EXTERNALC

  • Description​ : 카메라 사용 용도 작성​

  • Type : ‘MainView’, ‘SubView’ 선택​

  • external group​ : AJA 등 외부 입력을 받을 때만 Y 로 설정​ /그 외 모두 N으로 설정

  • default video. channel index : Group 이동 시 맨 먼저 보여지는 고정 영상 채널(channel index) 입력​

  • default audio, channel index​ : 음향을 사용하게 되는 카메라 채널(channel index) 입력​

  • default group​ : ​전체 그룹 중 기본 그룹에만 Y로 설정, 그 외 모두 N으로 설정

  • interactive : Y/N – Interactive VOD 영상 제작 사용여부​

  • replay : Y/N – Replay 영상 제작 사용 여부​

  • timemachine : Y/N – Time machine 기능 사용 여부​

  • pdview​ : Y/N – PD View 모니터링 사용 여부​

[동일 방식으로 모든 그룹의 정보 입력]

Video Info(Input)

  • codec: Input codec (H.264/H.265)

  • width : Input resolution size

  • height : Input resolution size

  • bitrate: input bitrate

  • GOP: Input GOP

  • fps: Input FPS

 

Video Info(output)

  • codec: Output codec (H.264/H.265)

  • width : Output resolution size

  • Height : Output Resolution Size

  • bitrate: output bitrate

  • GOP: Output GOP

  • fps: Output FPS

 

Audio Info(Input/output)

  • Channel Type : Mono/Stereo/Surround

  • codec : ACC​

  • sample rate : 48000​

  • sample bit : 16​

[Identify the Multi View group to be displayed in the app > modify the view type of the group]

[Check for missing and typo information such as external channel URL information, basic channel index in the group]

[Modify Excel by referring to the writing guide included in Excel]

Once the editing is complete, review will be carried out with the PM, QTA, and IMS personnel

Step of IMS Import

 When you're done with IMS Excel, you need to upload your IMS Excel file to your CMS. In the past, IMS Excel data was uploaded directly to the CMS server, but from V4 onwards, the IMS Excel file is stored separately on the IMS server. The IMS Import step proceeds as follows:

  1. Create a username/password in advance and request approval

  2. Click [CMS] > [Content]

  3. Click on the desired Content Item

  4. [PARENT CONTENT] > [Basic Info] > IMS Event ID/System ID 입력

  5. Click [Update by IMS] > [Save] to complete the IMS Event ID/System ID upload

※ IMS서버에 Import할 그룹채널정보 Excel File의 IMS domain 참조

Ex)

  1. Username: Enter ims@4dreplay.com

  2. Password: A common password within the company

[Check IMS Venue/System ID before connecting]

How to access IMS Venue/System ID

  1. Click VENUE and then click VENUE Management

  2. Click Venue List / System List to match the System_ID settings you created before the match

  3. Check the Venue Info on the left to make sure you have entered the proper System_ID

    1. ※ If you can't check because the System_ID is not created, upload Venue/System/Rule/Scale/Node data and select Refresh

[IMS Import from IMS Server

IMS Excel File Upload & Notifications task sequence

  1. Click Channel in the Group/Channel tab

  2. Click Upload and then click the IMS Excel file you want to import

  3. Check whether the appropriate IMS Excel Data has been uploaded through the table below, and then click Notifications.

[Preference Registration]

Steps to register a Preference

  1. 4DDM > Preference > Streaming > Use IMS 체크

  2. Enter IMS server IP and System ID information (see Excel document)

  3. Click [Refresh] (must click Refresh)

  4. Click [OK]
