[4DReferee] Preparing the system in advance
This section describes the system setup required to run the 4DReferee service.
Hardware configuration
The configuration is the same as the Local Live System in 4DReplay and 4DLive, and since we are streaming in 4K, the Camera’s Vpd must be configured in a 1:1 ratio.
NOte
Add the RTSP Streaming Server (4DSS).
Set the number of Vpd’s by checking the camera setup depending on the project.
NOte
Additional hardware may include a tablet PC, jog controller, and a 4K monitor.
Install Plan
Since 4DReferee App supports 2-Channel mode, you need to set up the installation plan by using two main groups and adding one “scoreboard view” in the group. (For example: the Chuncheon Taekwondo Competition, we set up three groups: high level, low level, and “scoreboard view”)
NOte
Streaming Server Setup (4DSS)
Set the 4DSS network IP to the system.
Manually set the channel index to be able to receive RTSP streaming by connecting directly to 4DSS.
Wire the 4DSS server directly to the switch that is connected to the PostSd.
Tablet settings
Set your tablet's network IP to static to match your system
Wired connection with the tablet directly to the switch that is connected to the PostSd
Install the 4DReferee Application onto the tablet
Enter Server (4DSS) IP when first entering 4DReferee Application
Manually entering Live settings, Camera groups, and Video information in 4DMaker
In 4DMaker DMPD, you can directly modify the group information and video output information of the SubChannel List for RTSP streaming.
Run 4DMaker (DM/PD) → Preferences → Streaming → Uncheck "Use IMS"
Open the "IndividualSetting.ini" file in the C:\4DReplay\Settings folder and change the value of ForceLive for [LIVE] to "True"
Open "subChannelList.ini" in the C:\4DReplay\Settings folder and enter the 4DSS server, camera group, and video information.
subChannelList 주요 설정 내용
[COMMON]
Count: Total number of cameras to use for RTSP streaming
Group Count: Number of groups for 2-channel mode + Score board View setup
[N]
The number in square brackets "[]" indicates the channel's information (liveindex).
Camera IP: Camera IP for the channel
Server IP: Enter the Server(4DSS) IP.
Group IP: Group IP that this channel belongs to
[groupN]
Name: Specify the properties of the group (in 4DReferee, only MAINVIEW and MULTIVIEW are specified).
Decryption: Enter a description of the group.
Video_Output: Enter video output information to determine the codec, GoP, fps, resolution (4K or FHD), and bitrate of the final streaming video.
The video_input information uses the information from the camera that is actually recording, and the audio information is not used, so it does not need to be modified.
If all camera groups are named MAINVIEW, the video_output settings cannot be set differently between groups. Groups with different video settings from MAINVIEW should be set to MULTIVIEW (especially when setting up a Score board View group).
